Leadership at AACDC
Since its founding in 2021, AACDC has been guided by a powerful blend of legacy and emerging leaders — an intergenerational team rooted in community, finance, development, and enterprise. Our Inaugural Board of Directors, led by Founder Dorothy Bridges, established the vision and foundation that positioned AACDC as Minnesota’s only Black-led, Black-governed, and Black-focused community development corporation.
Today, AACDC continues to build on that legacy through the combined leadership of our Executive Committee and Advisory Board, which bring together both long-standing community anchors and new voices. This intergenerational leadership structure ensures continuity, accountability, and innovation as we advance our mission of wealth creation, land ownership, enterprise growth, and cultural preservation for African Americans across Minnesota.
The Executive Committee provides day-to-day governance, direction, and accountability for AACDC. Guided by our founding vision and the needs of the African American community, this team ensures AACDC’s strategies are implemented with integrity, transparency, and impact.
